Colours of our Country

Colours of our Country is back for 2025!

The enthralling Aboriginal Art Exhibition is a showcase of breathtaking artwork, telling the stories and customs of Aboriginal artists from across the Pilbara.

In a special 20th anniversary celebration of the Colours of our Country exhibition, for the first time, the exhibition will take a curated selection of art from WA’s Pilbara region on the road.

Previously held exclusively in Boorloo (Perth), Colours of our Country exhibitions will this year also be held in London, UK, and Undalup (Busselton).

In doing so, the 20th anniversary exhibition offers a rare opportunity for art lovers on opposite sides of the globe to appreciate the Pilbara’s rich culture with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the artists, art centres and their communities.

Rio Tinto is extremely proud to be the founder and continued supporter of this exhibition which celebrates and promotes the work of Aboriginal artists from across the Pilbara region.

Save the date! Monday 25 – Friday 29 August 2025.

There’s an incredible line up of talented Aboriginal artists from across the Pilbara featured in the exhibition, including independent artists and participating art centres; Cheeditha Art Group, Juluwarlu Art Group, and Yinjaa-Barni Art Centre.

The exhibition has sold over 3,080 artworks, generating more than A$3.4million for local artists, their art groups and communities.

Come down and view the exquisite art on display, and support this highly anticipated annual event.

The event is free to attend, with all artwork available for sale, with collection by pick up only.
