From the creators of Australia’s largest Folk Festival, Woodford, the Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. They are coming around the southwest, with shows in Bunbury, Margaret River, Augusta, Nannup, Tambellup, Narrikup and more.
From the 15th August to the 23rd, our region will come alive with the sounds of New Zealand indie-pop sensation Jed Parsons. A few years since bursting onto the scene with his critically acclaimed debut album Midnight Feast (IMNZ Debut Release of The Year finalist) and over 2 million streams down the track, Jed has made a name for himself as one of NZ’s finest singer/songwriters.
He will be joined by Australian sensation, Alana Wilkinson. Full of sunshine, laughs and relatable lyrics, award-winning songwriter Alana continues to emerge as one of the most loved artists on the Australian scene. Backed up by successively sold-out headline shows and wonderfully received support spots for the likes of Ben Lee, Daryl Braithwaite, Tim Freedman, Fanny Lumsden, Clare Bowditch and Kav Temperley, Alana has enchanted diverse audiences across Australia.
