Yallingup Aboriginal Art invites guests to a special evening celebrating the opening night of an exhibition featuring the remarkable work of Contemporary Noongar artist Yondee Shane Hansen.

Yondee Shane Hansen’s artworks are deeply rooted in his culture, childhood memories, and the traditions passed down through his family. His distinctive black-and-white paintings reflect the elements of fire and trees, capturing the strength and simplicity of his artistic vision. From collecting and preparing paper bark with his aunties along the Swan River to learning the stories and techniques of his ancestors, Yondee’s journey as an artist represents a powerful connection to his Noongar heritage.
The evening will include wines by Jilyara and gourmet nibbles by the Art of Grazing. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from the artist and experience his evocative visual storytelling.
