Mrs Whiteside Spills the Beans – A Bunbury Shipwreck Story

As part of the Australian Heritage Festival and presented by the Bunbury Museum, go on a journey with Mrs Whiteside as she spills the beans on life in Bunbury’s early days.

Join Mrs Whiteside, wife of Captain James. T. Whiteside of the barque Parkfield, as she reveals life in the fledgling town of Bunbury, divulges the gossip of the day, and the perils of the sea.

This free public talk is part of the Australian Heritage Festival 2025. Presented by the Bunbury Museum, it will begin at the Koombana Footbridge, with the meeting point on the west side of the bridge.
