The Margaret River Pro is an action packed free event where top ranked male and female surfers compete along the stunning coastline of the infamous Margaret River region.
The event forms part of the World Surf League (WSL) World Championship Tour (WCT). It is one of eleven WCT events, which occur at iconic surf destinations around the world.
The Margaret River Pro will be held at spectacular Surfers Point. It is one of only two Australian events on WSL’s prestigious World Championship Tour schedule and will be the crucial mid-season decider, where the field will drop for the final events in the tour.
The 2024 WCT will include nine regular-season events in seven countries, starting in January at Pipeline, Hawaii. The Mid-season Cut will come into action following Stop No. 5 in Margaret River, Australia.
