At the Blackwood River Arts Trail, artists open their studios and present exhibitions over nine days in April in the picturesque Blackwood River Valley region. Covering four shires and multiple towns & villages, visitors will discover beautiful countryside, charming & hospitable hamlets full of unexpected finds while meeting and enjoying the art and studios of a variety of creative practitioners.
In Nannup, Bridgetown, Balingup, and Boyup Brook, Painters, sculptors, ceramicists, textile artists, mosaicists, performers, glass artists and more will welcome you to their workspaces & exhibitions. On weekends during the trail the Blackwood River Film Festival presents short & feature films, many made by local WA filmmakers to add to suite of the cultural experiences. A perfect adventure for a weekend getaway or mid-week break.
