CinefestOZ 2025 returns to Western Australia’s South West from 30 August to 7 September, presenting a vibrant nine-day celebration of film, culture and community. Set across Busselton, Bunbury, Dunsborough and Margaret River, the festival showcases new feature films, shorts and documentaries from Australia, France and New Zealand.
Audiences can enjoy a diverse program spanning drama, comedy, sci-fi, horror, family favourites and powerful real-life stories, with special events including filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, red carpet premieres, and unique in-venue experiences at wineries, restaurants, bars and boutique cinemas.
At its heart is the $100,000 CinefestOZ Film Prize, awarded to one of four outstanding Australian feature films. With free community events, a youth-focused schools program, and unforgettable regional hospitality, CinefestOZ offers a film festival experience unlike any other in the country.
