2026 Australian Open Water Championships and OceanSwim Festival

From 22 to 25 January 2026, the pristine waters of Koombana Bay will host Australia’s premier long-distance swimming showcase: the 2026 Australian Open Water Championships & OceanSwim Festival. Athletes of all levels will converge to tackle challenging courses, compete for national titles, and celebrate Australia’s vibrant open water community.

Beyond elite racing, the festival atmosphere will bring together swimmers, supporters and families with side events, ocean swims, and activities that invite participants to dive deep into coastal culture. Hold your place early – entries close 9:00 am AEDT, Tuesday 6 January 2026.
