Sunday 14th December, 9am–1pm sees two of Albany’s biggest markets joining forces for a huge Christmas Extravaganza. Eclipse Events and the Albany Boatshed Markets are teaming up to create the ultimate Christmas shopping experience—full of colour, creativity, and festive fun.
At the centre of this Christmas Extravaganza are amazing artisan stalls showcasing handmade Christmas ornaments and gnomes, knitted and dyed scarves, candles, flowers, crystals, preserves, honey, soaps, beauty products, woodwork, art, and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find special, one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting talented local makers. Grab a coffee, fabulous baked goods and hot food. Live music from local performers will fill the market, adding to the warm and festive atmosphere.
This Christmas Extravaganza is set to become a favourite Albany tradition, bringing people together, celebrating local talent, and spreading festive cheer.
BACKGROUND
Eclipse Events, created in 2018 by Anne Sparrow and Steve Cowley, focuses on giving creatives and small businesses more chances to shine. With over 500 makers in their network, they often partner with community and not-for-profit groups to bring events to life.
The Albany Boatshed Markets, running every Sunday since 2008, are known for supporting local artisans, food vendors and producers, and wonderful musicians—all under one big undercover space, rain or shine.
