The Alliance Française French Film Festival returns to the South West with a curated showcase of contemporary French cinema.
Alliance Française Perth and Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre invite audiences to enjoy five days of storytelling, style and unmistakable French flair on the big screen.
Founded by Alliance Française, the French language and cultural institution, the Alliance Française French Film Festival was launched in Australia in 1989. Since then, it has grown to become the largest festival dedicated to contemporary French films outside France, and the biggest film festival in Australia, attracting more than 198,893 attendees in 2025.
The 37th edition of the Alliance Française French Film Festival will screen at locations across Australia throughout March and April 2026, including BREC.
Guests can book VIP tickets for the Festival’s Opening Night and enjoy a special screening of Colours of Time. The evening also features French inspired catering by sponsor La Pause Miam, adding an elegant touch to the celebration of French cinema.
