Get ready—Bunbury Fringe is turning 10, and the 2026 festival is set to ignite the CBD with nine days of fearless, funny, and wildly creative performance. From 23–31 January, the city transforms into a buzzing playground of theatre, music, dance, comedy, circus, poetry and boundary-pushing new work, all packed into an electric summer celebration.
This year’s program brings a bold mix of acclaimed acts and Fringe favourites, including cabaret firecracker Skinny by Michelle Pearson, the powerful Noongar-led cultural experience Mayakeniny with Maatakitj, and the internationally celebrated storytelling of Wright & Grainger in ORPHEUS. Expect high-flying acrobatics in You & I by Casus Creations, a dazzling tribute in Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin, and a Y2K-fuelled circus riot with YUCK Circus’s Naughties. The festival opens with a huge birthday-style party hosted by Famous Sharron, complete with DJs, giveaways, a vinyl lounge with aerials, and the long-awaited return of Marmalade Mama.
With family-friendly shows, late-night chaos, community collaborations, comedy galas and poetry slams, Bunbury Fringe 2026 brings something unforgettable for every taste and every age. Explore the full program and start planning your Fringe adventure at bunburyfringe.comÂ
