Boola Bidi Dreaming Centre
The Boola Bidi Dreaming Centre promotes and nourishes over 45,000 years of Aboriginal Culture, the oldest continuous living culture in the world. Offering interactive Aboriginal cultural experiences for all ages on Bindjareb Noongar Country, activities include cultural ceremonies, guided walk tours, bush food and medicine workshops, artefact and tool making and Noongar language lessons.

Walk alongside local Elders on the popular Ridge Walking Tour – a 2 hour 1.4km Stage 3 walk showcasing bush medicine, flora and stunning views over the backwaters of Harvey Dam to the east and the coast to the west – or the Noongar Kaartdijin Bidee (Noongar Knowledge Path) Tour – a 1 hour 900m loop taking in the sights, sounds and cultural stories of the Harvey River, and the six Noongar seasons. Other tours, workshops or customised experiences to suit your itinerary and interests are available on enquiry

The Centre boasts an extensive retail range of Aboriginal products, including clothing, artwork, homeware, giftwares, books, native food, artefacts, beauty, cosmetics and much more. Products are carefully selected and crafted to be ethically and sustainably responsible, and made locally or sourced to directly benefit Aboriginal communities.

The Centre also provides visitor information about tourism products and services in the region. Located on the South Western Highway within the Stirling Gardens precinct of Harvey, it’s a one-stop-spot to browse the Centre’s range of products, grab a bite next door from Stirling Cottage, and stretch your legs in the Cottage Gardens and Noongar Kaartdijin Bidee (Noongar Knowledge Path) art walk trail along the banks of the Harvey River.
