Understory Art & Nature Trail
Understory is Australia’s leading art and nature experience. It is a nationally unique art in nature experience that everyone can enjoy. Artworks are located along a 1.2km walk trail through pristine native forest. Sculptures, stories, poetry and music explore our relationship with nature and the ‘spirit of place’.

Discover Understory, Northcliffe’s Art in Nature Sculpture Trail with a 10% discount off self-guided entry fees. Mention this offer when you pay at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre.

Southern Forest Arts is an award-winning ‘not for profit’ cultural organisation based in the small Western Australian town of Northcliffe.

We are inspired by the diverse beauty of the ancient forests that surround us, and the ingenuity and character of the individuals and community that live beneath the canopy.
