Walkabout on Country
Walkabout On Country celebrates and honours the Koreng Aboriginal people and their rich heritage. No tours offered during Makuru (June/July), but will reopen in Djilba (August/September) when the weather warms up, and ready for wildflower season.

As a proud Koreng man born in Gnowangarup, Ezzard Flowers takes you on a journey of discovery, learning and connection in the magnificent Koi Kyeunu-ruff (Stirling Ranges). Learn about the cultural significance of Bular Mial (Bluff Knoll) and the dream time stories and song lines that connect the Koreng people to Country.

Walkabout on Country Cultural Tour

This 90 minute tour is a beautiful experience describing landforms and meaningful cultural connections of the Stirling Ranges and Bluff Knoll, in particular. The tour includes personal stories and history from the perspective of tour guide, Ezzard Flowers, who shares his cultural beliefs and stories passed down through generations about the Koreng peoples’ connection to the site. Take in stunning views of Bluff Knoll and the farmland to the north.

Tours meet at the top carpark of Bluff Knoll (Bular Mial) with only a short walk of less than 500m to the lookouts from the carpark.
