Wander With the Wild at the Great Southern’s food and wine festival, Taste Great Southern, returning Thursday 5 March to Sunday 8 March 2026.
The festival’s refreshed program channels the wild spirit of the Great Southern – celebrating the region’s standout local talent, rich cultural heritage, premium produce, and rugged coastal beauty.
Across four delicious days, you’ll find a packed calendar of experiences designed to spoil you for choice, from unforgettable dining moments to encounters that showcase the very best of the Great Southern.
A key focus for Taste Great Southern is supporting local communities and businesses, creating exceptional culinary experiences, and providing opportunities for regional talent, artisans and producers to shine.
Taste Great Southern 2025–2027 is proudly supported by the WA Government through Tourism WA’s Regional Events Program, funded by Royalties for Regions.

Transport options will be available for this event. Guests may choose to make their own way to the starting point or utilise the transport included with their ticket.
A shuttle service will operate between key locations and venues throughout the event. Details regarding departure points, timings, and allocations will be confirmed closer to the event date.
At the conclusion of the event, return transport will be available to a central drop-off location. Guests will need to arrange onward travel from this point. Additional return transport options may also be available.
For those travelling from surrounding areas, a return transfer option will be offered, with further details to be released closer to the event.
All transport options and ticketing must be arranged via the Taste Great Southern website.
