Cheynes Beach Caravan Park is a multi-award winning place of tranquillity.
Only 40mins east of Albany, Cheynes offers a diverse range of nature based and beach activities including fishing, 4WD’ing, bird watching, hiking, and swimming.
Cheynes is also home to rare endangered birds, wildflowers, native fauna such as bandicoots, kangaroos and quokkas as Waychinicup National Park surrounds the park.
During autumn, winter and spring, land based whale watching is a popular attraction with southern right whales arriving in July to give birth and raise their calves within the safety of the Cheynes Beach and Hassell Beach protected cove until they head back south in October.
The park offers large grassy sites (some with ocean views) which cater for all equipment types and we also have 3 categories of cabin accommodation suiting every budget.
There is a takeaway van on site open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner during school holidays (off peak dinner only Friday and Saturday nights) and a general store equipped with fuel, groceries, merchandise, ice creams, and a bottle shop.
