LifeTrail is a Denmark-based guided hiking business offering personalised outdoor experiences throughout the Great Southern of Western Australia. Every hike is planned and guided directly by owner Didier Monot, who completed a solo 68-day end-to-end hike of the Bibbulmun Track in 2016 and has since walked close to 3,000km across the region. His offerings include private day hikes, multi-day Bibbulmun Track expeditions, teen hiking adventures and Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journeys — each one built around who you are and what you want from the day, not a fixed script.
Rather than following a standard tour format, LifeTrail focuses on small-group and one-on-one experiences that let you slow down, take in the region’s forests and coastline, and walk at a pace that suits you. Hikes are genuinely open to anyone — from complete beginners through to experienced hikers wanting local knowledge and expert guiding — and families visiting the region can also book teen hiking adventures, giving parents time of their own while their teens hike with Didier.
Didier also brings over 20 years of experience in disability and mentoring work to his guiding, giving him a rare depth of patience, communication and one-on-one skill that benefits every hiker — not just those seeking mentoring support. Whether you’re after a relaxing day in nature, a challenging multi-day trek, or a guided way to experience the iconic Bibbulmun Track, LifeTrail offers thoughtful, personalised journeys showcasing the beauty of Denmark and the Great Southern region.
