This quaint old general store and tearoom, established in 1937, is guaranteed to win your heart. Porongurup Shop supplies fuel, basic grocery lines, newspapers, a range of local handcrafted products, toys  and much more.

The Village is situated on Porongurup Road, 22km east of Mount Barker and is a central hub for visits to the local attractions including the Granite Skywalk, wineries and the beautiful walks through the karri forests of Porongurup. It is a short drive to the attractions of the Stirling Ranges and Bluff Knoll.

The cosy Tearooms are open seven days for your convenience. Open from 8am to 5pm with breakfast and lunch menus and their famous high teas with scones and lashings of cream and jam.

Attached to the tearooms is the Porongurup Village Inn, offering a range of backpacker/budget accommodation options as well as two mud brick, self-contained cottages. See below or click on the Accommodation link in the menu above for more details.

Markets are held on the long weekends in March, Easter Sunday and September.

Porongurup Village Inn offers comfortable, clean, budget accommodation, with beautiful stained glass windows. The Inn offers suitable accommodation for couples, singles, backpackers and families and will appeal to people visiting the beautiful Porongurups for work or pleasure, such as wine tasting and nature based activities.

Also available, for those who prefer more privacy, are separate, fully self-contained cottages, tucked away at the rear of the property. Queen bed and 2 bunk beds
