Terms and Conditions BOOKING CONFIRMATION Please note that by confirmation of your Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat booking and payment of the deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed hereafter. BOOKING CONDITIONS A deposit of 50% of the total is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card 14 days prior to your arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment. Card transaction fees will be added to the checkout total. We also accept EFT to our Business Bank Account which will not incur any fees. A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all bookings regardless of payment method. CANCELLATION POLICY We operate a no refund policy if booking is cancelled within 14 days of arrival date. For high season and peak periods ie (Christmas, New Year, Easter, long weekends and special events) no refund will be considered for bookings within 30 days. Bookings cancelled outside of peak periods and prior to 14 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the booking total or monies can be transferred to an alternative date. A cancellation fee of $250 will be retained on all cancelled bookings and an admin fee of $100 will be retained on any amended bookings. OCCUPANTS The number of people occupying the Chalet are not to exceed the number of people shown on the booking confirmation unless prior arrangements have been made directly with Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat. No functions or parties to be held on the property. This is a smoke free property. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE GUEST The guest is responsible for the Chalet during his/her stay. Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat expects the guest to take all reasonable care of the retreat and to leave it clean and tidy and in the manner than found it after departure. If Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat finds that the Chalet has not been left in a reasonable condition, Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat will charge the guest for time required for extra cleaning. The guest is responsible for their own well being when walking or biking using our bush tracks on the property and Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat cannot accept any liability for any accidents, incidents or injury relating to these activities whilst on the property. DOG FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION We welcome responsible dog owners as we are very pet friendly here. There is no enclosed yard as we are in the middle of the forest but we do have a nice clear area where the dogs can go which our previous guests with dogs have been very happy with ? We just ask that you bring your dogs belongings ie bedding, bowls, food, toys etc as we do not offer these and have some simple requests while you are here for example: We ask that your dog isn’t left in the chalet on their own, that you are responsible for him/her (ie kept on a lead when on the property), that you clean up after him/her both inside the chalet and outside before you leave and please note unfortunately due to a previous bad experience please do not allow your dog in the recently professionally cleaned carpeted bedroom area or on the furniture especially not on the new sofa – as any damage and/or scratches will have to be paid for accordingly – thank you. We charge $40 per dog per night which is payable locally on arrival. Sorry but we only accept dogs that are house trained, well behaved and over 1 years old. BREAKAGES POLICY Please note that any damage/loss caused to the property or furnishings during your stay could result in costs of repair (and any insurance excess) being charged directly, either fully or partly, to you the registered guest. THE PRIVACY ACT The guest authorises Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat to collect and hold personal information from any source it considers appropriate to use for the purposes of determining credit worthiness or communicating promotional activities and product information in the future.
