THE PROPERTY
This house is BRAND NEW, just completed and opened for bookings starting SEPT 2023. It has been built to be very eco-friendly and sustainable. The house features high raking ceilings, double glazing and burnished polished concrete floors throughout. This house is very energy efficient achieving an 8.7/10 for the National House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS). You’ll find it warm in Winter and cool in Summer due to the Passive Solar design and the thermal characteristic of the hempcrete construction.
You’ll find waiting for you a Welcome Gift of a bottle of local Margaret River wine, chocolates, and some hemp-infused alcoholic beverages to enjoy with your guests. There’s a few hemp skincare samples for you to try as well!
Linen and towels are provided by a linen service. We also have a washing machine (with detergent provided) and dryer should the need arise.
Raking ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living area angle up to the north wall, maximising the winter sunlight to the room. Massive glass sliding doors open up the living room to the outside decking and the beautiful lake view. The kitchen features all-black appliances and include a large 90cm induction cooking hob, 90cm underbench oven, a dishwasher and ample crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking equipment to please the most enthusiastic chef. If you’d like extra or all bedrooms rooms to be available (1 person per room for instance, if your booking is 6 guests or under) there will be a $100 per extra Suite fee (per booking) to cover the extra cleaning/linen/setup costs. Please let us know AT BOOKING if you need extra Suites made up. Unneeded bedrooms will be locked.
We provide complimentary premium quality locally handcrafted hemp shampoo, hemp conditioner, hemp body wash and hemp hand soap for your use in our ensuites.
We have a unique theatre room that will instantly relax you – a Boronup Forest photo wall to the back of the room, a 98 inch 4K QLED Android TV to the front and a ceiling lined in stunning Blackbutt timber.
