Join Capes Raptor Centre twice-daily Birds of Prey Encounters, where you will learn about the birds’ incredible natural behaviours and unique sensory abilities used to track and catch prey. You can even have your photograph taken with an owl!
Capes Raptor Centre provides the largest care and rehabilitation facility for birds of prey in Western Australia, offering a permanent home to over 50 raptors, including Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and Owls, that are unable to return to the wild. Each year, many more birds are successfully rehabilitated and released back into their natural habitat.
A 1km bush walk among native flora allows you to view aviaries housing resident diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey. It is an ideal walk for spotting wildflowers and orchids during spring. You can explore the bushland sanctuary before or after the Bird of Prey Encounter.
