Refined over three decades
Quiet Retreats offers extended silent meditation retreats in Australia for people who have done meaningful inner work and want to go deeper than insight alone.
Unlike traditional retreats focused on technique or discipline, Quiet Retreats use supported silence and Matthew Zoltan’s Natural Meditation approach to help resolve long-held patterns at their source.
Held in secluded natural environments over 7 to 21 days, they combine depth, duration and individual support for deep recovery, clarity and lasting change.
Natural Meditation & Deep Stillness
Quiet Retreats centres on a body-based meditation approach that moves beyond apps and techniques. You stay with what is present and allow it to unfold.
At first, the mind continues as usual. Planning, reviewing, moving. Then gradually the pace changes. Sleep deepens. Breathing settles. The body begins to feel different.
As the days pass, what has been held beneath activity starts to surface. Not as something to analyse, but as something to feel and complete. This is where the shift begins.
The changes are simple and noticeable.
- The body begins to release tension that has remained despite insight
- A deeper understanding of yourself, beyond thought
- Situations affect you less, without needing to manage reactions
- Rest feels complete, not temporary
- The mind becomes quieter, with less constant thinking
Guidance is provided throughout the retreat by Matthew Zoltan, who developed Natural Meditation through decades of work in body-based recovery and integration. Guests can also explore these principles through Matthew’s Undo app.
